Sweet freaking Christ... Worst fears confirmed, worst expectations fulfilled. And it was all caught on video.

The Washington Post reported that the White House is actively scrubbing government websites clean of any of its own previous statements that have now proven to be untrue. Apparently this is not illegal, but telling nonetheless.

Sweet freaking Christ, Part II.,, Even though torture is technically illegal in the USA - for the time being, at least - Amnesty International has issued a report accusing American companies of manufacturing and selling torture devices to nations that take a more "ethically nuanced" stance towards the practice. And lest there be some misunderstanding, we're not talking about innocuous devices that can be transformed by evil hands into pain-delivery systems, like steam-pressing someone's testicles with a hot iron. We're talking devices specifically designed to deliver maximum pain with minimum physical damage. Evil!

You know how a handful of crazy conspiracy theorist looney-tune whack-jobs are getting worried about the potential for democratic disaster posed by Republican-affiliated, Christian fundamentalist-funded "e-voting machine" manufacturers like Diebold Inc? Well, it turns out Diebold employs a number of felons as managers. Among these felons is a cocaine trafficker, a stock fraudster, and a programmer who spent time in jail for FALSIFYING FUCKING COMPUTER RECORDS, FOR FUCK'S FUCKING SAKE!!!!!!! Paper and pencil, counted by hand, folks. It's the only way that works.
